Verbouwen en verhuizen kost tijd
De grote verhuizing hebben we achter de rug. Wat een hoeveelheid spullen verzamelt een mens, al zeg ik het zelf! Maar het is gelukt; alles is verhuisd en de verhuisdozen zijn bijna allemaal uitgepakt. Daarnaast zijn we uiteraard volop bezig met de verbouwing en restyling. En met enige trots zeg ik: “Wat wordt het mooi!”. Twee gastenkamers beneden zijn klaar. Nu wordt de volgende gastenkamer onder handen genomen en de gezamenlijke woonkamer krijgt een frisse look met veel spullen uit ons vorige huis. Laten we die de afgelopen jaren nu voor een deel in Frankrijk hebben gekocht!
Ondanks dat we dagelijks ‘meters maken’, kost verbouwen (uiteraard) meer tijd dan je van te voren incalculeert. Verrassend? Nee! Ook Pascal, onze klusjesman, heeft meer tijd nodig.
Wanneer we open kunnen is nu met de lockdown in Frankrijk niet bekend. Voor de komende weken hebben we nog genoeg klussen te klaren. Het lastige is dat je niet naar een bouwwinkel kunt gaan aangezien die hier allemaal gesloten zijn. Gelukkig hebben we nog genoeg materiaal en verf in huis om de komende weken vooruit te kunnen.
